Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience in estimating heavy civil, mass excavating, public works, utilities, demolition and grading; County, city and state projects; Pre-bid meetings, hand-off meetings and change orders Extensive experience in developing bids for excavation projects with the ability to project manage Proficiency with cost estimating software.

Availability to travel regionally as needed for business purposes Diverse project resume including private, municipal, state DOT projects and projects completed as both general and subcontractor Strong math skills Ability to navigate specs and plans Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects Close attention to detail Excellent written and communication skills as well as computer proficiency including MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Project, etc.
), Bluebeam and Fieldwire.

Bachelors degree in relevant field preferred Compensation:
$90,000 to $120,000 Annually (depending on experience) Bonuses Benefits Offered:

Full-Time Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
The Lead Estimator will head our efforts in the development and delivery of complete construction estimates for a variety of types of projects in civil construction/public works, commercial and schools.
This role will provide expertise and leadership for all estimating efforts, ensuring that projects align with company objectives and goals for company performance.
Specific position
Responsibilities:
Prepares and estimates budget costs for excavation by studying plans and specifications.
Evaluates by site requirements, addendums and costing changes Resolves cost differences by analyzing and collecting information Oversee estimating process including solicitation of bids from vendors and subcontractors; tracking, follow up and reporting on multiple estimates.
