RV Service Technician - Entry Level and up

POSITION
Summary:
The position of RV technician is to perform repairs and maintenance on RV's of all shapes and sizes.
The types of repairs are similar to construction or renovation repairs mixed with electronics installation and repair.
HVAC, Plumbing, Frame, Roofing, 12v, 110v, diagnosis and more.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
oManage work assignment including Flag Time, Cause and Cure documentation, escalation to supervisors when repair time will exceed allotted timeoKnowledge of 120AC and 12DC circuits and testingoExperience performing Pre Delivery Inspections to prepare an RV for customer delivery ensuring all systems are functioning as designedoBasic knowledge of AC system theory and testingoBasic woodworking, cabinetry and skillsoExperience diagnosing and repairing all major systems and components found in an RVoUnderstanding and compliance with OEM and vendor warranty proceduresoBasic understanding of Generator operation and maintenance proceduresoExperience installing RV accessories such as hitches, brake controllers, slide out toppers oMaintain a safe and clean work environmentoEnsure the proper use, care and storage of all tools and equipmentoProvide high level quality repairs on all work assignmentsoAttend all company required meetings and trainingoAdditional responsibilities as requested or required.
QUALIFICATIONS and
Experience:
oRVIA certification helpful but not requiredoPrior technical experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry is highly desiredoValid Driver's License and clean driving record to meet insurance requirementsoMust provide own toolsoMust have excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
oAvailability to work more than 40 hours a week or moreoFlexibility to cover changing work schedules as neededoAbility to lift to 70 poundsoAbility to repeatedly bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, push and pulloMust be able to stand / walk for extended periods of timeoPotential exposure to heights and hazards oExposure to environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetnessoAbility to work in changing climates and work outside for extended periodsoAbility to perform essential functions with or without accommodationEducation:
oHigh School Diploma or equivalent#LI-DNI Recommended Skills Cabinetry Carpentry Communication Maintenance Monitoring And Installation Of Braking Systems Plumbing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
